On an overcast and breezy November morning on the Fylde coast, our U14s showed real character and resilience to earn a hard-fought draw against Rossall.

We raced into a two goal lead with goals from Samuel and Farhan in the opening twenty minutes before being pegged back by a penalty just before half time. The second half became a war of attrition with BGS doggedly defending, and Rossall desperately trying to find an equaliser.

With 15 minutes left to play, Rossall capitalised on a mistake to make it 2-2. Not to be outdone, BGS promptly went on the attack with Farhan slotting home past Rossall's formidable keeper to make it 3-2 to BGS.

Deep into injury time, Rossall found another equaliser before BGS almost scored a last-gasp winner. A breathless end to an entertaining match.
