BGS U12s kept up their recent unbeaten run in a close game against Kings Chester. Midway through the first half, Chester took the lead after good play on the edge of the box. BGS responded just before half time with Archie hitting a first time from just inside the opponent's half, sending the ball in over the goalkeeper's head.
In the second half, BGS took the lead with Isaac driving up the pitch from defence, past several Chester players, before shooting from the edge of the box. After a good save from the keeper, Alex was on hand to put away the rebound. 2-1 to BGS.
Edward made several good saves in goal, but eventually, Chester's persistence paid off and they scored a deserved equaliser. A draw was a fair result in the end.
