The Bury Junior Schools’ Annual Athletics event was a resounding success, marked by a fantastic morning filled with intense competition. Our athletes from Year 3 to Year 6 performed well, with many beating their own personal bests and there were several stand-out performances:

Harriet achieved bronze medal in the shot put, Flo secured silver in the javelin throw, Lydia won two individual medals, the silver in the long jump and gold in the 60 m sprint, Olivia earned silver in the 75m sprint and the girls’ relay team of Lydia, Evelyn, Omon and Olivia won gold!

Congratulations to all of our participants as we achieved 4th place overall from a field of 20 schools. Many thanks to the organisers and our families for their support.
