The U12A team hosted Scarisbrick at home on Saturday for a highly competitive and closely contested match. The game was tight throughout, with the score standing at 3-2 in Scarisbrick’s favour at the halfway mark. The third quarter proved to be a turning point, as the U12A team struggled to find space and build effective plays while moving down the court. Scarisbrick capitalised on this and extended their lead during this quarter. Despite this setback, the U12A team came back fighting in the fourth quarter, showing great determination and teamwork. They managed to draw the quarter 4-4, but it wasn’t enough to recover from the third-quarter deficit. Ultimately, Scarisbrick secured the win with a final score of 14-7. Well done to Harriet voted both Coaches’ Player and Players’ Player of the Match. Olivia was also recognised as the Opposition Player of the Match. The U12A team will look to build on their strengths and continue improving as they prepare for their next fixture.
