On Tuesday, the Senior School swimming team travelled to Bolton School for one of the most challenging galas of the year. Bolton School took an early lead following the backstroke races, but the BGS team fought hard to regain points during the breaststroke events.

The butterfly races were particularly close, with finishes often separated by milliseconds between first and second place, showing the competitive spirit of both schools.

As the gala progressed into the freestyle and relay events, Bolton ultimately got the victory. Despite this loss, the BGS swim team can take pride in their performances throughout the year. A never quit attitude and talented swimming, BGS has achieved four wins out of six this season which indicates a positive and exciting finale to the season ahead.
