This was a fantastic introduction to competitive basketball for our U14s against Unsworth Academy in a match played in a good spirit by both teams.

Our opponents raced into a 6 point lead early in the game as Bury struggled to gain momentum and capitalise on their free throws. As the half progressed, Bury settled, showing some good defensive discipline at times. By half-time, the score was 16-5 to Unsworth.

Bury made a brighter start to the second half with some good attacking play from our top scorer, Harry, but Unsworth ran out worthy winners in the end.
