The BGS U13 girls' football squad played their final game of the season against a tough opponent in Crompton House C of E School. From the first whistle BGS played with a good tempo and stopped Crompton House from getting into a playing rhythm. Both teams has some good chances and the score was 0-0 for most of the first half. At 20 minutes Crompton House took the lead and then scored another in quick succession. Issy worked hard and put in some excellent tackles while Alex and Alice were calm in defence and made good decision. Lucy had a fantastic performance and made multiple saves in goal.We had a change of formation in the second half which meant we could apply more pressure to the opponents defence. We were rewarded with a well worked goal with Milan crossing the ball to Summer, who finished it over the keepers left shoulder. Well done for showing determination until the end.
