The U13A netball team travelled to Bolton School on Wednesday to compete in the Greater Manchester County Netball Tournament. BGS faced tough opposition in what proved to be a challenging group stage. Despite the difficult matches, the team showed great resilience and never gave up, giving their all in every game. However, they struggled to find the necessary flow and consistency in their play, which hindered their overall performance. The high level of competition tested the team’s adaptability and focus, and although results didn’t go in their favour, it was a valuable learning experience. The day served as an important opportunity for the players to develop and reflect on areas for improvement, particularly in handling pressure and executing team strategies under challenging conditions.

Well done to Grace, who was voted Players Player of the Tournament for her defensive display, and to Hannah, who was named Coach’s Player for her hard work and crucial turnovers.
