The Year 5/6 swim team performed well today at the prestigious North West Swimming Gala in Macclesfield.

Our swimmers had to compete in an individual race and then combine to complete a medley rely team and a freestyle medley team.

All of our swimmers controlled their nerves and performed well in the heats; Ruby in backstroke, Anna in the breaststroke, Eva and Sam in butterfly and Sienna and Freddie in freestyle, each finishing 4th/5th/6th in their heats. Our standout performer on this occasion was Oliver who went through to the finals of the Breaststroke and came a wonderful 6th position overall!
