U11 Cricket Team Shine at BJSSA Dynamos Finals

The U11 Cricket team delivered a great performance at the BJSSA Dynamos Cricket Finals today. In the semi-final, they faced off against St Andrew’s Radcliffe and secured a confident win, showcasing super teamwork and skill across both batting and fielding.

In the final match, they went up against a strong St Andrew’s Ramsbottom side. BGS were first in to bat and didn't quite secure as many runs as they had hoped, but then they played well in the field, bowling particularly well. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the team narrowly missed out on victory, falling short by just 10 runs.

Every player gave their all on the field, demonstrating great determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit. Their efforts earned them a well-deserved silver medal, and the whole school is incredibly proud of their achievements.
